Shelter College can often be an overwhelming experience. Exams, papers, expenses, relationships and of course football, can all bring stress into our lives. Not to mention living in a culture that is constantly changing and re-defining ethics and morality. What does it all mean? Who can we trust? At the Refuge, we understand the difficulties and complexities of an ever-changing society that is constantly sending us mixed messages. We understand the challenges you will be facing as you go through college and get ready for the "real world". The Refuge provides more than just physical shelter (the roof over our heads) it also provides spiritual shelter. The Refuge gives you a safe place to seek answers and support to some of life's most difficult tests. Whether you are going through some serious stuff or you just simply need a break from those stuffy dorms, the Refuge is an exciting yet meaningful event that can make campus life a much more enjoyable experience. |
