Updates from Students in Prague 6/8JEREMY
Dear church,
We are starting to see breakthroughs in Prague. I am really encouraged because I feel the Spirit moving and am sooo thankful for that. Continue to pray for our team and our zeal, passion, and love for Christ. We want only to be ambassadors for Jesus so pray for God to do a great work in us and through us.
Love, Jeremy

Prague has been amazing but it has been tough. During the first week we made may contacts by just walking up to people at the cafeteria at the Econ University and we were on fire. But as the weeks have gone on we are struggling to make conversions because we are just strait up drained. Its definitely a spiritual battle for, so ask yall to pray for strength for our team.
CHELSEA
These past few weeks the team has been going strong. It is very tiring; I ask that you pray for us in that God will give us the strength we need to carry on. This is an amazing experience and I don’t want to waste any minute of it not glorifying God. We are his light in this dark city and we are planting seeds so others can reap the harvest later on. Thanks for the prayers and support as we travel through this beautiful journey!
RACHEL
These past few weeks have been really encouraging! Thank you for the continued prayer. Please pray for one of the girl that I am meeting with. Her name is Bara, and I shared the gospel with her. She has a lot of questions! Please pray for her that God would give her understanding. Thank you for your support!

Chapel family,
Thank you for your prayers thus far… the Lord has been showing off and encouraging us all in many different way. I ask that you pray for our team to be springs overflowing love into the precious friendships we are building. We have been praying for brokenness, that He will break the walls built up around the Czech peoples hearts and allow them to see the need for Jesus in their lives. Lastly, pray for the people of Prague who are already believers… pray that they will desire to grow and deepen their relationship with Jesus everyday.
Love, Jackie

The trip is going well so far. Please pray that God will give us the opportunity to share his word with the students here. Also, please pray that God will give us the opportunity to meet new students and build relationships with them.

Hey back home! Things are going really well over here with the students. It has been so encouraging to know that you have been praying for us! We have met so many great students here. One thing that encourages me the most are the missionaries here who are always passionate and motivated every day. Please pray for a fresh passion this week for our team and renewed strength. Also pray that our team would be unified daily and would be constantly seeking Christ in all we do. Thank you again for all the prayers.
LANDON
Hey everyone. As each week passes our relationships with students continues to grow and have more of an impact on my life. The conversations get deeper and questions about God become more common. We are developing friendships that will last far beyond the 6 weeks that we are here. The students give us more love then it seems we give them and that is what helps motivate me to share with them the route of all Love. Please pray that our friendship continue to lead to more talk and sharing about Christ so that we can share with them the love that He so graciously gives us.

Hello everyone. We have seen more and more doors open up each and every day while we are here in Prague. It has been such an encouragement to see God working and moving in the lives of these students. Please continue to pray that more doors will continue to open and that the doors currently opened will stay opened. God loves the people here and wants them to know him. It is such a joy seeing the lives of people changed!
GARRETT
Hey everyone back home! The first week of our time here in Prague was very fruitful in the amount of contacts made. Since then the number of contacts made per week has slowed significantly. I would like everyone to pray for God to open up doors for us let His love radiate through us at the universities and just that the students would be curious about the Christian community we have here. Please continue to pray for Peter, Phillip, Phillip's brother David, and my one-on-one English conversation student George. Phillip and Peter are steadily growing. I have only met David once so I would ask you to pray for more opportunities to share Jesus with him. George is atheist although he acknowledges that he thinks there is something "bigger" out there that he cannot explain. We've met three times now and have great spiritual conversation every time. He is now taking the initiative to contact me to set up meetings and his interest in my spiritual life is definitely growing. This week we are meeting to discuss a "bad experience" that he had with "Christians." I would like you to pray for this meeting and his continued interest in the difference that Jesus has made in my life. In Christ, Garret

Hey Church Family!
Please pray for the spiritual attacks and warfare that this city is undergoing as well as our team. God is so faithful, and he is bringing an incredible unity and bond among our team so that He will be more glorified. Please pray for my friend Lucie who I met last summer. Some of our American girls cooked authentic Czech food at her house on Saturday, it was so fun to hang out with her! I got a chance to talk to her for a while, and she said that she believes in God, but she is not ready to make Him a part of her life yet or to act on her belief. She remembered me telling her how much God loved her last summer, and says she thinks about those words when she gets sad or angry. Please pray that she will take the step to ask Jesus into her life to have a personal relationship with Him! I have met many girls in these last two weeks as well as reconnecting with old friends from last summer. Please pray that God will soften their hearts to see HIS truth and love, and also that our team will continually abide in Christ and our desperate need for our Savior!

We are having an amazing time so far. We have had the opportunity to meet many students and spend time with them. Please pray that I’ll have the courage to be open with the students, and the God will give me the words to say to the students.

We have met a lot of students so far. We have had great conversations and truly started to get to know them. They are very genuine and honest about their beliefs. We have a weekly gathering with the students called the Journey. This past week we discussed what Jesus meant to the students, and it was very interesting too see what others had to say. So far this has been a very humbling experience and please continue to pray for the students that we are meeting with. Thank you!

Jesus Christ is making himself known in Prague and it is a wonderful thing to witness. I have become friends with many students including Mark and Martin. Martin is a current believer who needs the strength of a community. He needs support and prayer from Christians in Prague and a church who will lead him and help him to grown in Christ. Mark is a crazy, off-the-wall, hyperactive, loud-mouthed atheist. He enjoys hanging out with our group and loves learning parts of American culture. But he is far from making and spiritual decisions. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead him to see that life doesn’t revolve around him. That could be the prayer for most students here. They don’t have an eternal perspective on life, which causes them to be selfish. Their trust lies within science instead of the Creator of the universe. Pray that these people’s hearts will be open to the gospel and will receive it with joy and thanksgiving.

This trip has not only affected the students here but me as well. The weekly event Journey (spiritual discussion) that we coordinate has given me a glimpse of the amazing things God has planned for me. I cannot wait for Journey in the weeks to come. It is by far my favorite event that we host. I cannot begin to fathom God; at the very least I can only live my life for him. This trip is teaching me so much. I ask that you continue to pray for us. God is having great effects on this city. He truly is God of this city!!

This trip has already had a powerful impact on my life. Over here we know a few locals who are Christians, some long-term missionaries, some just natives. Their faith and perseverance is unmatched to anything I have ever seen. Over here if you claim to be a Christian, then you really are a Christian. It’s not something that everyone grows up as or is the cool thing to do. Christians are looked down on over here because no one believes a god exists. The Christians over here have so much perseverance, each and everyday they sow seeds into the city of Prague and rarely ever see any crop. But it doesn’t stop them, they know that it is not harvest time. For me, this has been so encouraging. I love to see results and I like to see them right away, but God has been teaching me patience, and to always rely on his timing.

Josh as you may know has left us and I am now getting to disciple one of the Christian guys he was discipling. It will be fun to share and go through live the next couple of weeks with Paul a new believer. I am excited to see him grow and be able to grow with him. Be praying for the relationships we build here and the growth of Paul and his walk with the Lord.

Hey Chapel! Things are going really well for the team here, and we've made some great friendships so far. I know that the team has been so encouraging to me, which I am so thankful for. I have met some great people here who God is using to teach me so much. Thank you so much for all your prayers back home! Please be praying that the students will be willing to take some time from studying to meet with us. They are so dedicated to school here that they often study all day. Please be praying for our team as well for tiredness. The past week was busy, so pray that we can recover this week. Thank you so much for all the prayer!

Please be praying for God to take away the stronghold Satan has on this city. I know we are sharing God's light in Prague's spiritual darkness because we have been under spiritual attack individually as a team. Please pray for us to look to God for guidance so we would not have to rely on our own strength. I am so excited about the people we are meeting here. Last week I had several conversations with Czech about their views on Jesus. While their views are as hard as their communist backgrounds, they are very warm to the love of Jesus we get to bestow upon them through our actions. I, the team, need to discover daily the love Christ has freely and abundantly given us so we can love the Czechs fully and without abandon. Please pray that we discover that love new and fresh everyday and that would never be the same.

Hi Chapel!!!
Please be praying for our team as we cling tightly to the cross with everything we have in this dark place. The spiritual battle going on within this city is real and intense. Pray that the Lord will give the people of this city the light and hope they are desperately waiting for. I ask that you will pray for my new friends: Sona, Semona, Julie, Lenka, Michala, and Dana. All of them are amazing women who God has strategically placed in my life. Lastly, I am personally praying for the opportunities and boldness to share the love of Jesus Christ with them. Thank you for your support and love.
Much love,
Jackie

Hey everyone! Please pray for the spiritual warfare going on here in this city and among our team. I had a great conversation for 2 hours with a girl named Alis about her beliefs on Jesus. She is an Atheist and communism has strongly influenced her beliefs. Please pray that God will break down the walls in her heart and that she will come to a relationship with Jesus. I have also met with a girl a couple of times named Simona. She is not a Christian yet, but says that she wants Jesus and believes in Him in her head, but not in her heart. We have looked at different part of the Bible together, and she has GREAT questions. Pray that she will accept Jesus into her life and be forever changed by His love. Thank you so much for your prayers. God is working here, and just pray that His love will break down the walls in people’s hearts!!
