This trip has been one of the most amazing experiences in my life. I have been deeply affected by God. He has consumed me from the inside out. I am so passionate about what we are doing here. I thank you for the many prayers and the support. It has been God working, not us. We could never do what we are doing here without Him. I am in awe that He has given me this great opportunity to be here. I do not want to take anything for granted over here. Please continue to pray for us and this city even after we leave.

This week has been so great to build deeper relationships with the girls that I have met here. I have been able to hang out with girls that I became friends with last summer like Martina and Janie a lot. It has been so cool to see how God has further developed these relationships for His glory. Also, at the Journey on Thursday night, we had 20 students come that were not Americans. It was great to connect with students and have deep spiritual conversation with them. God is softening hearts and moving in people’s lives. Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers. They have made a huge impact here!

Hi Everyone! The trip is still going great! This weekend we were able to take six students to Vienna, Austria with us. The trip was a great time to build up our relationships with them. Please continue to pray for the students we have been meeting with, and for our team to stay unified. Thank you!

Hey Friends. We just took a trip to Vienna with some of our Czech friends and had great time of fellowship with them. It is now our last week and we are hoping to have some fun and take advantage of these opportunities to share with them what is on our hearts if we haven’t already. Pray for endurance and guidance with our relationships as we close out.

Church Family, Thank you for all of your prayers and support during our time here in Prague. I can’t believe it is almost over… I never imagined that these goodbyes would be so hard. Please be praying that the Lord will continue to reclaim this beautiful city and that each member of our team will continue to be a light to this world no matter we are. Love- Jackie

Hello Church. This week has probably been the best week here. I have learned so much, seen and heard so many things that are so encouraging, and really begun to understand who I am in Christ. Bringing six students to Vienna was one of the highlights of the week, but I found more excitement in seeing how close some of these students are to discovering who Jesus is. Please pray now (a lot) for those students, and pray for us, that God would show us by His spirit how to move forward with the students. Thank you for all the prayers!

With only a week left I really am going to miss this great city. This past weekend we got the opportunity to visit Vienna, Austria with six other Czech students. The trip was great, but most importantly I really felt like I got close to some students. One student, Victor, is from China and has lived in the Czech republic for seven years. He has probably heard the gospel over fifty times but I really feel he is very close to accepting Christ. Please pray that this last week leaves lasting memories and thoughts in his mind.

Vienna was a beautiful city and provided us with a great opportunity to spend every minute with six Czech students. It was such a blessing for the Lord to bring these students into our group and join our Christian community. This last week I feel is one of the most important weeks. Pray this week that God gives us opportunities to hang out and love every student that we’ve been able to meet. Pray that we, and more importantly God, would leave a lasting impression on the lives of the students. Pray that God would break their hearts for Him and that He would have such an impact on their lives that they too would feel compelled to introduce their friends and family to the life and teachings of Jesus. See you soon.

As this trip comes to a close, it is such a wonderful blessing to look back and see all that God has done on this trip. As one student said, “ What makes you do this? Why do you Americans come to this city and ask us these questions that we have never heard before?” This is a clear example of the Holy Spirit moving through the hearts of students here. Our goal for this trip has not been to save students because that is impossible. Our goal has been to faithfully love students and let God’s love shine through us. Please pray that these students will feel God’s love like never before and that they will have an encounter with him that changes their lives forever. Pray that they will be overfilled with grace and love and that their lives will be a reflection of Jesus Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them to people who challenge them and help them grow in their Christ.

By the time you get this update, we will have one day left. Please pray that we can close out our time with these students with intention and love. Pray that the Spirit will pour out of me and forever change the lives of Johnny, Ken, Marek, George, and Ondrej. My deepest hope is that I will lay down my flesh and my own efforts and humble myself the serve God and these people.

Thank you for your continual support and prayer. I cannot express to you the impact you have made in Prague. Please pray that God continues to use our team here as our time winds down. Please pray for these three girls: Pavla, Bara, and Karolina. I have really gotten to know and love them. Pray that God reveals himself to them.

Prague has been an experience of a lifetime. The people over here are extremely kind, and really have a lot to talk about when you dig deep into their souls. Every week I meet with a guy named George. George isn’t a Christian but does believe in some sort “god”. He really is an awesome guy but please pray for him to realize that there is only one God. We are on our last two weeks, please pray that Christ is revealed to our Czech friends, Thanks and God bless!

Prague has been a really growing experience. The language barrier and difference in beliefs has grown my patience. I have met with some great girls and really got to know about their lives. Please pray that God would reveal himself to these girls. Thank you for your continual prayer for our team. We greatly appreciate it!

Prague continues to stretch me and help me pursue Jesus. I feel the presence of the Spirit more and more so for that alone I am so thankful. This whole trip has been a growing process and has inspired a rekindling of my faith. I am so thankful for everyone I have met and continue to meet. My hope is that you continue to pray for me to draw closer to Jesus and that I can point Czech away from the false idols in their life and point them to the truth of the Gospel.

This city and these people never cease to amaze me. They live in this blinding darkness. It is such a life-changing experience to lead them towards Christ. I have met so many people, and I am still meeting new people everyday. I pray that my words will touch their souls through Jesus. It has always been God’s will; it has never been mine. God is working through us not only to spread his word, but for us individually. I am so much further along in my walk with Christ than when I started this trip. I know I will come back from this amazing experience and never be the same. Please continue to pray for us, for strength, wisdom, encouragement, and motivation.

There is so much I have learned from the people I have met here in Prague. God has continually been bringing me through different things that are stretching my faith and drawing me closer to Him. This trip for me is largely about learning to depend on Christ for all my needs, so please pray that I would constantly be seeking Him. Please pray for opportunities for our team to connect with our students on a spiritual basis. Thank you so much for all your prayers.

Cau! Church Family, Thank you for all of your prayers… this past week was amazing. The Lord opened so many doors for new friendships and spiritual conversations. A handful of the girls I meet with are very open and eager to learn more about our great Savior and what He did for all of us. Please be praying for these wonderful women: Julie, Tereza, Michala, Olga, and Karolina. Also, be praying for our team, that we will be sensitive to the spirit and beautiful, Christ like examples for the people of Prague.

The past week has been awesome! We have been able to spend more time with the contacts we have made and become closer to them. Thank you for all of you prayer support. Please continue praying for the hearts of the contacts. The two contacts I work with are Silvia and Susan, please pray for these girls. Please pray for the team, that we continue to be unified and be good examples of Christ for these students.

Hello all. The past week has been great! The Lord provided opportunities for me to meet with all three of my regular contacts. Peter is a Christian that Thomas and I met with Tuesday. It was so refreshing to be able to talk with a Czech Christian and to encourage him in his walk with Christ. Peter is extremely confident in his faith and meets regularly with one of the few Christian groups at the universities. I met with George Wednesday and our talks continue to be spiritual in nature. His curiosity is growing and he told me his mother is sick with cancer. Pray that through this hard time he considers turning to God for strength and direction. Phillip is still making major progress in his understanding of our faith. Thursday night was a huge blessing. Landon and I met with him after Journey and he finally opened up about his entire life. He believes that there is a God and that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but he does not believe in Heaven and Hell. He puts ALOT of thought into his spiritual life and he believes that God is so merciful and so forgiving that He would not send anyone to Hell. Pray that God blesses all future meeting and relationships and that He continues to open doors to the lives of the people here. In Christ, Garret

Hi. This week has been a great blessing in so many different ways. God has allowed us to build very close relationships with our contacts, as well as establish new contacts. Meggie and I have grown very close to Martin and Simona. They invited us over for dinner the other night and we had an awesome time with them. Martin received Christ last summer and has so many questions about God and how he can grow in his relationship with God. But God also allowed me the privilege of meeting with a student named John this week. This was my first meeting with John and I had no idea what to expect. It turned out that we sat down and had a two-hour conversation about everything that had to do with God. John is very inquisitive about religion and is willing to believe in Christ if the Bible would just make sense to him. We are going to be meeting a couple of times over the next two and a half weeks discussing this topic as we browse through the book "More Than a Carpenter." These last days that we are here are going to be amazing to see. God has been so faithful to our team and faithful to show himself to the people here. Pray that the students here will be able to see the love that we have and that compels us to be here and share God's love with them.

Hey everyone, Prague is becoming a place of comfort. Not because of our nice hostel but because of the love we are getting from students here. The other night Garrett and I went to get some coffee with one of the guys. We got to talk about life and Christianity and our friend began to share that he never gets to talk about these sort of questions with other Czechs. He went on to say that he enjoyed hanging out with us because he could see we actually cared and loved. This hit me pretty hard because I knew it was not my own love. The student isn’t a Christian but God is apparently working. Please pray for our relationship with Phillip.

Hey Everyone! This week has been so great. I got to see Martina, who is one of my closest friends from last summer, and we hung out all night. It was so great to catch up on each other’s lives, and to talk about Jesus together, as she is my sister in Christ. It was so refreshing to hear how she is growing in Christ. She just needs community here in Prague; she is so hungry for growth and for Jesus. I was also really encouraged at the Journey on Thursday night. We had two Czech girls come, Klara and Carolina. Klara is a solid believer, so it was so great to hear her story of how she came to Christ and to see and hear how she is growing in her relationship with Him. It was also so cool, because Carolina said that she wanted to read the Bible with a group of people, and that she had never thought about some of the things we talked about, but she has a desire and is open to learning more about Jesus. She believes there is something out there, and she wants to learn more. Thank you for your prayers, please pray that God will continue to break down barriers in people’s lives here, and cover them with his truth, love, and grace.
